| Fafa is one of the 170 islands of the Polynesian Kingdom of Tonga. The seven hectare coral island is about 7 kilometres north of Nuku'alofa, the capital of Tonga or 30 minutes sailing with Fafa's motor sailer. |

ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation consist of 8 standard fales and 8 superior fales designed in traditional Tongan building style. All fales are facing the ocean.
The superior fales are set amongst palm trees, a few steps away from your beach. They have walls made from coconut leaves, the roof is covered with wooden shingles. They have a spacious bedroom, dressing room, a covered veranda and a courtyard with semi open bathroom with solar heated shower and a side protected sundeck. They are equipped with beach beds and a hammock. Guests in the superior fales are offered additional services including bathrobes and an early morning tea and coffee service.
The 8 standard fales have thatched roof and walls, a small covered veranda, toilet and shower facilities sourced from a solar heater. They are set like a Tongan village and surrounded by a natural tropical garden. Built in a traditional style, they have a rustic appearance and appeal to the more adventurous visitors. |

| ACTIVITIES: Apart from getting a tan on the fine beaches around the island, or dozing in a hammock in the shade, Fafa Island offers a variety of activities. Watersports facilities like paddle boats, windsurfers, a hobie cat and snorkel equipment are available on the island. However, no petrol-based watersports are permitted around the island. Diving excursions and boat trips to other islands can be arranged. And if you feel for the 'big city' Nuku'alofa, or a sightseeing tour of the main island Tongatapu, both are only half an hour complimentary boat ride away with Fafa's twice daily operating motorsailer. |
